CropLife Latin America is the international trade association representing the Crop Science Industry. This industry researches and develops agrotechnologies (crop protection, biotechnology, and seeds) that help farmers improve efficiency in crop production for food security.
Our affiliates are seven Research and Development companies and a network of associations in 18 countries across Latin America. The association represents Syngenta, FMC, Bayer, BASF, Sumitomo Chemical and Amvac.
CropLife Latin America and its network of 26 associations work for sustainable and productive agriculture within the framework of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
CropLife Latin America is one of the 11 regional associations affiliated with CropLife International, the global federation of the Crop Science Industry.
The industry represented by CropLife Latin America complies with the FAO International Code of Conduct alignments on the Distribution and Utilization of Pesticides. Additionally, the industry has strict ethical and social responsibility parameters, in aspects like quality, respect for public health and environment.
